Not really a game

“Change?” he asks.
Before I can reply, he’s asked again, this time with an outstretched hand.
“Change?”
It’s sort of like a game we play.  So far it’s been:
Me 347

Summer Reading

So, I’ve got an urban fantasy, a hard sci fi, and now I’m looking for a fluffy fantasy novel that doesn’t have a drow in it.

Rock Band

Rock Band excels at fulfilling the “hit button and get a pleasurable outcome” center of my brain.  There is altogether satisfying with getting together with your friends and pretending to play a song that you know.
When one of you fails, you all fail.  When you all succeed, it is a moment resplendent and glorious.  There [...]
